We are looking to recruit an experienced school leader with knowledge and experience of developing Trauma-Informed Attachment Aware Practice within a school or other education setting. You will lead the delivery and expansion of our growing TIAAS School Lead Practitioners. You will be working within a passionate team dedicated to supporting and enhancing the quality of education for all children and young people in Birmingham, especially those who have experienced adverse childhood experiences and trauma.

Birmingham’s Virtual School sits within the Children and Families Directorate and collaborates with the Birmingham Educational Psychology Service on the delivery of our TIAAS training and accreditation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, promote, and ensure effective delivery of Birmingham Virtual School's statutory responsibility to provide education settings and the wider partnership with knowledge and training on attachment theory.
