The predicted salary is between 28598 - 33699 £ per year.

In this role, you will provide practical, day‑to‑day support to households experiencing homelessness, often in emergency or crisis situations. Weekly hours will be on a rota‑based shift pattern, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Shifts will be from between 8 am – 9.30 pm Monday‑Friday and 8 am – 8.30 pm on weekends. Working within one of our supported accommodation centres across the city, you will be part of a team delivering a temporary accommodation service, ensuring residents feel safe, supported and able to move forward.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting residents on arrival and throughout their stay in temporary accommodation
  • Assisting with housing benefit claims and basic financial arrangements
  • Helping residents plan their move into longer‑term accommodation
  • Carrying out room inspections and safety checks
  • Responding flexibly to the needs of individuals and families
  • Writing brief case notes and maintaining accurate records
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to support positive outcomes
