b Overview /b p In this role you lead the delivery of key community safety priorities across Birmingham, aligning multi-agency partners to achieve shared outcomes. You’ll translate strategic priorities into practical, delivery-focused plans for a designated CSP theme such as SOC or VAWG. The role focuses on coordinating partnerships, shaping evidence-based responses, and driving improvement at pace. You’ll work to make Birmingham’s communities safer through collaborative, data-informed strategy and delivery. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Membership of West Midlands Pension Fund /li li Enhanced Holiday Entitlement – 30 days /li li My Rewards Scheme – discounts /li li Health and wellbeing support – EAP and counselling /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead delivery of core community safety priorities (SOC, ASB, VAWG, safeguarding, vulnerability) across partners /li li Coordinate across policing, health, housing, social care, and voluntary sector to drive collaborative action /li li Use data and intelligence to identify risks and shape strategic responses with measurable impact /li li Develop and monitor action plans, performance frameworks, and improvement programmes /li li Lead complex projects and commissioning activities with governance and value-for-money oversight /li li Influence senior stakeholders and provide reports and advice to support decision-making /li li Develop strategies and innovative approaches to improve community safety /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Significant experience in community safety, criminal justice, safeguarding, or related field with proven positive outcomes /li li Proven success leading programmes or thematic priorities within multi-agency environments /li li Strong knowledge of community safety legislation and responsibilities (Crime and Disorder Act, safeguarding, ASB, serious violence prevention) /li li Excellent partnership-building, stakeholder management, and influencing skills /li li Strong analytical skills using data and insight to inform decisions and drive improvements /li li Outstanding communication skills for reports, briefings, and presentations to senior leaders /li li Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced setting /li /ul ul li collaborative mindset /li li strategic leadership /li li stakeholder influence /li li data analysis /li li intelligence-led decision making /li li governance and performance frameworks /li /ul
