About the role

Grade 3 – £27,254 – £33,699 per annum
Working 36.5 hours per week on a rotating 24/7 shift, covering 365 days per year. Permanent position located at Holt Court, Birmingham (B7). The role is paid at Living Wage level where below the Living Wage rate. The postholder will be subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide frontline intervention and prevention in the delivery of a 24/7 Assistive Technology Enabled Care service.
  • Monitor and respond to mobile or technology‑enabled care equipment for vulnerable or elderly citizens in their own homes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all calls received and client data using the computer system, including input, interrogation and retrieval of information.
  • Maintain hard‑copy and manual records systems used for all functions of the operating centre.
  • Work a rolling rota covering 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, averaging 36.5 hours per week.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience in a technology‑enabled care service or working with older and vulnerable people is beneficial but not essential.
