An exciting opportunity has arisen for an adaptable, self-motivated Member Support Officer, to assist the Head of Member Support in providing a comprehensive and confidential service for Governance. You will have significant experience of working within a financial and information technology environment; working under pressure; meeting tight deadlines; interpreting, collating and producing financial information, in a variety of formats.

As well as:

  • Administrative experience, including establishing, developing and operating office systems.
  • Experience of motivating, supervising and prioritising the work of others.
  • Producing data using Microsoft Excel and/or other IT packages.
  • Guide colleagues on Information Technology, e.g. email, conversant with Office 365, Microsoft Excel and/or equivalent, databases, and understanding of its application to the smooth running of the office.
  • Strong communication skills with experience of collaborating across diverse groups (e.g. elected members, senior manager/s, members of the public and other internal and external stakeholders).
