We're looking for a Benefits Sector Manager to lead our high‑profile Supported Accommodation Housing Benefit Team within the country's largest local authority. This hands‑on manager role is for someone who thrives on pace, complexity and challenge. The position will drive performance, improve outcomes and work in partnership with colleagues and partners to enhance this critical public service.
You will lead and motivate an operational team, review policy and introduce new legislation into robust, efficient processes. We're seeking an experienced Benefits practitioner or someone ready to step up to the next career challenge. You will be an integral part of the Benefits leadership team, driving the overall running of the service. Proven experience of housing and legislative knowledge is essential.
This is a hybrid working role; onsite attendance is dependent on service needs. If you are operationally strong and passionate about delivering results in a complex environment, we would love to hear from you.
