Permanent Grade A - £24,796 - £27,254

Working times - Monday - Friday Term time only including 3 cleaning days in school holidays and 5 Inset days. Salary is pro rata to the hours worked.

2 roles available: 1 role working 15 hours per week, 1 role working 12.5 hours per week.

Location - Dame Ellen Pinsent, Ardencote Road, B13 0RW.

Cityserve is a Birmingham City Council catering service for school meals providing fresh and nutritious food for school kitchens across the UK. About the role

As a General Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in keeping the kitchen clean & tidy
  • Maintain a balanced diet and varied menus
  • Be aware of the care users’ needs and dietary preferences

You will work collaboratively with managers and supervisors to ensure the first-class delivery of food in school kitchens both in and outside of performance times. Previous kitchen experience is essential to this role.
