You\’ll provide expert support for various software applications, including the new Income Management Application, Civica Pay. Collaborate with functional, development, delivery, and security teams to implement and support new and existing solutions. The ideal candidate should be user-focused, motivated, and experienced in supporting internal teams. They must collaborate effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and performance of solutions in a dynamic environment. What We Are About As an Application Support Engineer, you will support current applications and collaborate with teams to implement advanced solutions that meet business needs. Key Responsibilities Technical Expertise: Be part of the implementation and Support Team for the new Income Management application and provide seamless support once live, to multiple business areas. Application Support: Contribute to seamless support and operation of applications across multiple business areas β such as dealing with service tickets, supporting testing and implementation of third party hosted solutions including updating of system parameters. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain excellent relationships with peers and stakeholders within the business About You Experience: Comprehensive experience in Application Support, ideally support within a Local Authority. Experience working in a multi-disciplined customer-facing application support team, with varying levels of technical ability and responsibility Technical Skills: Strong IT skills, with extensive hands-on experience in implementing, trouble-shooting and managing software applications. Additional Skills: Ability to work on own initiative, and to develop and deliver own work plan, while also prioritising and organising the work of a multi-faceted application support service in a busy customer-facing environment. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
