Smethwick Church Action Network exists to serve people in time of crisis, meeting immediate needs for food and offering hope helping people move from a place of need to a place of opportunity, hope and self-sufficiency. It runs a very busy Foodbank and Pantry, supported by an amazing team.
Smethwick CAN has a vacancy for a Project Director to lead and develop the charity. The successful applicant will have a passion for our aims and values aligned to our Christian faith. The Project Director will oversee project management, fundraising, financial oversight, safeguarding and health & safety. Strong communication and people development skills are essential.
The role is based at Holy Trinity Church, Smethwick, and is for 20 hours per week to include both a Tuesday and Friday with other hours to be agreed. The salary is £19,864 per annum (equivalent to a full-time salary of £37,245).
