Do you enjoy finding meaning in data while also working closely with people? Are you experienced in using a range of data and analytical approaches to support effective organisational decision-making? Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable children?
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Birmingham Children's Trust for a Research and Quality Assurance Specialist. This role plays a key part in helping the Trust hear the voices of the children we serve and understand their experiences.
The successful candidate will support research activity and a programme of quality assurance work that informs service improvement, practice development, and leads to better outcomes for children and young people. This will include undertaking both qualitative and quantitative analysis of a range of data sources, such as feedback, service user experiences, and performance against key performance indicators. You will also be responsible for communicating key findings and recommendations in clear, meaningful and tailored formats to a variety of audiences.

About You
• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) with relevant post-qualification experience. • Can build and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal colleagues, teams and partner organisations. • Able to work flexibly and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines. • Experience of analysing and interpreting a range of qualitative and quantitative data. • Understands and can apply a variety of data collection and research approaches. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to different audiences. • Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people through evidence-based practice and service improvement.
