An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ward Manager on the Eden Male Acute Ward. The successful candidate will be a qualified Registered Nurse (RMN) with significant experience at Band 6 or above within an Acute or PICU setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will participate with the multidisciplinary team and undertake direct involvement in patient care.
  • You are expected to manage and direct the delivery of clinical services within the unit, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, current legislation and quality standards.
  • Proven leadership skills and clinical excellence are required: you will provide leadership and mentoring, act as a positive role model for junior staff and reflect the philosophy of the service and the values of the organisation.
  • In your role you will receive support and supervision from the Clinical Nurse Manager to develop your practice further.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Registered Nurse (RMN), Band 6 or above in an Acute or PICU setting, with significant experience.
  • Evidence of proven leadership skills, clinical excellence and the ability to manage and direct clinical services.
