Fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and highly motivated Deputy Ward Manager that is excited to be part of Recovery focused/ reintegration

services based at Dan Mooney House , Knowle , Solihull, Birmingham.

This service provides a slow stream rehabilitation service for service users across Birmingham and Solihull. Dan Mooney House is a 15 bedded male complex care unit for individual with severe and enduring mental health conditions.

We are looking for inspirational, innovative and creative individuals who

are dedicated to and passionate about caring for people with complex mental health needs. You will need to possess high quality clinical and interpersonal skills to contribute to and deliver high quality and compassionate care, to service users at the point of discharge. It’s important that you understand multidisciplinary services and the challenges that face people with mental health problems.

We want to hire staff that are passionate about mental health, who believe in our recovery model and who will act as advocates for the reduction of stigma in our community. You must have excellent organisational skills and a understanding of safeguarding and how to work within professional boundaries.

We are looking for ambitious staff with the desire for self-development. We offer regular management supervision and close working with the

Ward Manager and other Deputy Ward Managers as well as promoting continuous professional development to provide you with opportunities to

progress and ensure that best practice is embedded in clinical provision.
