The Ancillary Buildings Asset Manager ensures ancillary building assets across the airport estate are safe, compliant, and effectively maintained throughout their lifecycle. Acting as the technical lead for ancillary buildings, you will support the development of maintenance strategies, drive asset performance, and ensure alignment with Technical Services standards. The role works closely with Building Infrastructure and Property teams to deliver high‑quality, efficient, and compliant asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and application of asset management plans, technical standards, and maintenance strategies.
- Ensure ancillary building assets meet regulatory, statutory, and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with Building Infrastructure to deliver effective maintenance aligned with lifecycle intent.
- Support design, commissioning, and handover processes to ensure maintainability and asset readiness.
- Act as the focal point for asset performance, identifying issues and driving continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate asset information, technical records, and data quality within CMMS systems.
Experience Required
- HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Facilities Management.
- Experience managing or supporting a multi‑building estate in a complex operational environment.
- Strong background in hard FM or building services engineering, including maintenance strategy development.
- Experience with BMS, Smart Buildings, and statutory compliance within building environments.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with operational teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Strong technical judgement, analytical capability, and a structured approach to asset management.
