Birleys is recruiting for an Assistant Manager in one of our seven retail food outlets across the City of London and Canary Wharf. We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced and hardworking individuals to join our management team.
As an Assistant Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
- Preparation, presentation and the sale of hot and cold sandwiches and salads from our deli style counters.
- Manage a team of up to 14 staff, maintaining high standards and providing excellent customer service.
- Be focused, passionate and well organised with the ability to handle pressure whilst working flexible hours as required by the operations.
- Assisting the manager in the control of food and labour costs as well as staff rotas, food ordering and stock control.
- Ensuring health and safety and food safety standards are continuously met.
- Maintaining high standards across the day-to-day operations of the store.
5 days a week between Monday to Sunday with some flexibility required.
