Birleys is recruiting for an Assistant Manager in 1 of our 8 retail food outlets across the City of London and Canary Wharf . We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced and hardworking individuals to join our management team As an Assistant Manager your key responsibilities will be: – Preparation, presentation and the sale of hot and cold sandwiches and salads from our deli style counters – Manage a team up to 14 staff, maintaining high standards and providing excellent customers service. – Be focused, passionate and well organised with the ability to handle pressure whilst working flexible hours as required by the operations. – Assisting the manager in the control of food and labour costs as well as staff rotas, food ordering and stock control – Ensuring health and safety and food safety standards are continuously met – Maintaining high standards across the day to day operations of the store – 5 days a week between Monday to Sunday with some flexibility required Essential skills & experience required for the Assistant Manager If you have the relevant food retail experience from a busy and fast environment and you are ready for the next challenge and career progression we would like to hear from you.
