Job Summary:

The Sage X3 Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the Sage X3 ERP system to meet the organization’s business objectives. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and developers to analyze requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful deployments. The architect also ensures the system’s scalability, performance, and alignment with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solution Design:

• Analyze business processes and requirements to design comprehensive Sage X3 solutions.

• Develop architectural blueprints and technical designs for the Sage X3 system.

• Define system integrations, customizations, and workflows based on business needs.

2. Implementation and Customization:

• Lead and oversee the implementation of Sage X3, including configurations and customizations.

• Collaborate with developers to design and execute necessary custom scripts and reports.

• Ensure that the ERP solution integrates seamlessly with other business systems (e.g., CRM, WMS).

3. Technical Oversight:

• Provide technical guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to design and quality standards.

• Perform system performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization to ensure reliability.

• Manage database and infrastructure aspects related to Sage X3.

4. Project Management:

• Collaborate with project managers to set timelines, scope, and deliverables.

• Document functional and technical specifications for new features and system enhancements.

• Conduct system testing and oversee user acceptance testing (UAT).

5. Training and Support:

• Provide end-user training and technical documentation to support successful adoption.

• Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams, resolving any ERP-related challenges.

• Support ongoing maintenance, updates, and system enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience:

• 5+ years of experience working with Sage X3 ERP systems.

• Proven track record in Sage X3 architecture, implementation, and customization.

• Experience integrating Sage X3 with third-party applications and systems.

• Skills:

• Strong nderstanding of Sage X3 modules (e.g., Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing).

• Expertise in SQL, database management, and system performance optimization.

• Knowledge of Sage X3 development tools and programming languages (e.g., 4GL, X3 script).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Certifications:

• Sage X3 certifications are highly preferred.

• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) are a plus.
