As a Cleaning Contract Manager, you will lead operational excellence across a national portfolio, driven by our core values. You will be a hands-on leader, building and inspiring your team through comprehensive training and a commitment to health and safety. By nurturing strong internal and external relationships, you will ensure Birkin remains a trusted partner, delivering exceptional value and outstanding cleaning standards every day.
Whilst London based, the requirement will be to visit each nationwide site on a monthly basis to conduct compliance/cleaning audits, with support from the wider Portfolio Team, to assist with ad hoc and reactive tasks.
Core Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Own the daily delivery of onsite services, ensuring all work is completed within budget and according to the agreed scope. Set clear targets for the team and monitor performance to consistently achieve and exceed benchmarks.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the main onsite contact, leading monthly performance reviews and managing all site reporting. Act as the primary point of contact for all offices, nurturing strong internal and external relationships.
- Team Leadership: Lead, engage, and develop a high-performing team of Site Supervisors and Operatives, fostering a culture of teamwork and safety.
- Resource Management: Schedule labour and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure all sites are equipped with the necessary staff, PPE, and equipment.
- Performance & HR: Work closely with HR to manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance processes.
- Growth: Identify opportunities to improve processes and provide innovative solutions to their clients.
- Expertise: Comfortable in the corporate workplace setting and delivering a first class operation in this sector.
- Leadership Style: A "hands-on" approach with the ability to remain positive and professional in challenging situations, creating a source of engagement and motivation for their teams.
