This role will deliver a high-quality, end-to-end recruitment service across Birketts LLP. This is a hands-on role focused on recruiting business services professionals, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensure a positive candidate experience. The role is ideal for an experienced recruiter who enjoys managing multiple roles, building relationships, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of recruitment processes.
Accountabilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for a range of legal and business services roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements, advise on recruitment approaches, and agree timelines.
- Draft and post job adverts, shortlist candidates, and coordinate interviews.
- Manage offers and support pre-employment checks and onboarding.
- Deliver a professional and engaging experience for all candidates.
- Act as the main point of contact throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure timely communication and feedback.
- Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, and other channels.
- Build talent pipelines for key roles and future hiring needs.
- Support employer branding activity through job adverts, careers pages, and events.
- Work with recruitment agencies when required, ensuring value for money and quality of candidates.
- Brief agencies clearly and manage performance against agreed expectations.
- Maintain accurate recruitment data within the applicant tracking system.
- Contribute ideas to improve recruitment processes and ways of working.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition role.
- Experience managing multiple vacancies at the same time.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers.
- Good knowledge of recruitment best practice and employment legislation.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system.
- Direct sourcing experience using LinkedIn, Indeed and similar platforms.
