Overview
In this role you will lead the design and deployment of legal technology solutions, focusing on HighQ-driven client collaboration, matter delivery and workflow efficiency. You’ll work with partners, lawyers and operations to translate legal needs into practical tech solutions, govern platforms, and drive adoption. You’ll shape how the firm delivers legal services through technology, data and automation, in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities
- Design, configure and implement HighQ sites, client portals, matter workspaces and collaboration platforms
- Develop workflow-enabled solutions using HighQ forms, tasks, notifications, alerts and automation
- Configure permissions, access models, governance controls and security settings
- Create dashboards and management information to support matter delivery and client transparency
- Maintain development standards, templates, site structures and platform documentation
- Support HighQ troubleshooting and continuous improvement
- Gather requirements from legal teams and translate needs into practical technology solutions
- Contribute to solution design for document/workflow automation, CLM and collaboration platforms
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable and aligned with information security and policy
- Test, document and iterate solutions before and after launch
- Identify opportunities to improve legal service delivery through technology and automation
- Support innovation pilots and client-facing technology demonstrations
- Deliver user training and guidance materials
- Promote adoption through lawyer-friendly explanations of technology benefits
- Track usage and value delivered by solutions
- Coach and mentor junior technologists on HighQ governance and design
- Develop training materials and playbooks to improve adoption
- Support development of a scalable legal technology operating model
- Maintain documentation and best practices for HighQ and related tools
- Monitor performance, risks and user feedback
- Prepare recommendations and progress updates for senior stakeholders
- Build confidence in HighQ with practical advice
- Support platform governance and housekeeping
- Ensure alignment with security, data protection and professional services requirements
- Drive continuous improvement and reuse opportunities
- Lead on the evolution of a mature legal technology operating model across the firm
Key requirements
- HighQ Administrator or equivalent platform certification (highly desirable)
- Hands-on HighQ experience essential
- Experience in legal services environment or professional services
- Ability to define requirements and map user journeys for technology solutions
- Experience configuring platforms, testing Builds and collaborating with IT or vendors
- Familiarity with legal workflows, matter management and client service delivery
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication for guidance, training and updates
