Overview

In this Real Estate Finance role, you support banks and lenders on secured lending transactions within a leading UK law firm. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to manage a high caseload and build client relationships that add value. The position offers hybrid working and a clear focus on professional development, business development, and delivering commercial outcomes. You’ll contribute to the firm’s Next Level Law culture while supporting ESG and community commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary client contact, fostering trusted relationships and identifying value-adding opportunities
  • Participate in marketing and networking initiatives to grow the client base
  • Own personal financial performance with accountability and a commercial mindset
  • Support and mentor junior team members as needed
  • Contribute to the delivery of secured lending transactions for banks and specialist lenders

Key requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years PQE for Associate or 6 years PQE for Senior Associate in a professional legal environment with experience in secured lending for commercial/residential property transactions
  • Experience building credibility and trust through client relationships and business development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, time recording software, case management, Outlook, and digital dictation
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to team development
  • Established client base or network (preferred but not essential)
