Team

The SIPP Team sits within the Real Estate Division and specialises in all elements of property investment, including commercial transactions, acquisitions, disposals, transfers in specie, part‑ownership, loans, leases and mortgages.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to fee earners and assist in the department’s work
  • Undertake fee‑earning work under supervision
  • Handle post‑exchange and completion matters
  • Produce first drafts of contracts, transfer deeds and leases with fee‑earner guidance
  • Create files and manage client care correspondence
  • Update and report to clients and intermediaries on transactional progress
  • Submit Companies House and Land Registry applications and requisitions
  • Submit searches, review results and prepare title reports
  • Prepare deed schedules and documents for clients
  • Prepare completion statements and invoices
  • Arrange transfer of funds for completions and file closures
  • Respond to Commercial Property Standard Enquiries
  • Manage pre‑completion requisitions and file closing, including deed storage
  • Provide an efficient and friendly service to clients
  • What we are looking for
  • Law degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrable interest in and/or knowledge of relevant law and legal procedure
  • Ability to undertake technical and procedural legal work
  • Competence in accurately recording time and understanding chargeable work
  • Strong legal research and investigative skills
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyse information and present findings clearly and precisely
  • Strong attention to detail to produce consistently high‑standard documentation
  • Professional integrity and a commitment to providing excellent client service
  • Competent use of Microsoft Word, Excel, time‑recording software, case management, Outlook and digital dictation
  • Hybrid Working

This role is fully office based.
