The team you will join Our Residential Development team sits within our wider Real Estate Division and specialise in the acquisition, sale and development of land for an array of national and SME Residential Developers and Registered Providers. The team also works closely with other Birketts’ teams, which includes full support from tax, planning, environmental, construction and Real Estate litigation teams. Our property lawyers are particularly experienced in dealing with development and investment, planning, secured lending and landlord and tenant matters.
The work you will be doing We are seeking a commercially focused legal professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for client service. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to manage complex matters, build and maintain trusted client relationships, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the growth of the business through strategic business development activities. You will combine excellent legal judgement with commercial awareness, ensuring clients receive practical, high-quality advice that supports their objectives while contributing to the firm's financial success and long-term growth.

As a Senior Associate, we typically expect candidates to have a minimum of 6 years PQE. As a Legal Director, we typically expect candidates to have a minimum of 8 years PQE.
