Are you ready to join our expanding Collaborative Provision team within Academic Standards and Quality to take on a new leadership role at Birkbeck, University of London? We are seeking a dynamic and detail-orientated Quality Lead for our growing portfolio of Collaborative Provision. As Quality Lead you will manage the operation, staff and processes for this area of ASQ to ensure delivery of an effective service to both partners and internal colleagues involved in partnership development and/or delivery. This new role will play a key part in developing Birkbeck’s collaborative partnership provision, including devising and implementing effective processes to establish this new area of growth for the College.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Collaborative Provision team within Academic Standards and Quality and contribute to the leadership of the wider ASQ area and Education and Student Experience Directorate.
- Lead the strategic development of new collaborative provision opportunities and maintenance of the College’s existing partnerships.
- Support the Head of Academic Standards and Quality and work closely with the Quality and Regulations Manager by leading the strategic development of the College’s quality framework for collaborative provision.
- Manage Study Abroad and student mobility frameworks for the College.
- Manage academic governance and arrangements for Collaborative Provision.
In order to succeed as Quality Lead, you will need to have significant experience of the regulatory requirements pertaining to provision delivered in partnership; quality assurance (OfS, QAA and CMA) and of trans-national education and its regulatory frameworks, as well as:

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships across organisations.

Salary and benefits: £51,713 to £60,858 per year. Grade 8 of the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance that applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area. Contract: Permanent, full-time (35 hours a week) contract. Flexible and hybrid working offered.
