We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Lecturer to teach this Summer 2026 at Birkbeck, University of London. The College is looking to recruit an Associate Lecturer on a part-time, fixed term basis to teach on our Undergraduate Law programme.

Joining Birkbeck's Law School, you would teach on the following module:

  • Equality and Diversity

Teaching Thursday evenings 6-7.30pm Summer Term (from w/c 27 April 2026)

Responsibilities

Your role will be to deliver teaching to Birkbeck students, in order to enable them to complete their studies successfully, and to undertake all related course administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

You will have the relevant specialist legal knowledge to teach on the above law module(s). You will be qualified with an LLM (or related postgraduate degree) with either an LLB (or similar qualification that covers the 7 foundations of legal knowledge) or equivalent professional experience.
