We are looking for a dedicated Student Services Assistant to join the Student Advice Team for the Summer 2026 admission cycle.
Role Summary
The Student Services Assistant will support the Clearing admissions cycle and provide customer service to prospective and current students. The role involves answering queries in person, by telephone and email, and may require support of other university teams on an as‑needed basis.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the Clearing admissions cycle.
- Answer student queries in person, by phone and email.
- Receive and apply in‑house training on university systems and procedures.
- Provide flexible support to other student‑facing teams as required.
- Work a fixed‑term 35‑hour per week schedule: Monday‑Thursday 10:00‑18:00 (with one late shift 18:00‑18:30) and Friday 10:00‑17:00, with occasional weekend work for overtime pay.
Qualifications
- Experience as a university administrator, retail assistant or customer service advisor.
