Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a Student Funding Administrator to join the university this Spring 2026. The role offers an opportunity to join the Student Funding Administration team and play a key part in delivering UK student funding and financial support for a diverse student community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check and process data received from the Student Loans Company, including submitting registration and attendance confirmations and processing Change of Circumstance notifications.
- Work with large data sets, assess supporting documentation and calculate financial support entitlements.
- Support the delivery of a range of bursary and scholarship programmes.
- Work closely with the Student Funding Administration team to provide accurate processing of Student Loans Company data and delivery of institutional financial support.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience as a Funding Advisor, Funding Administrator, Student Advisor, Student Financial Support Officer, Registry Administrator, Student Records Administrator, or Faculty Administrator.
- Excellent attention to detail and experience using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with student record systems such as SITS and the HEI portal desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
Benefits & Salary:
- Salary: £31,234 to £34,827 per year, Grade 4 on the College's London Pay Scale, which includes a consolidated London Weighting Allowance.
