Birkbeck, University of London has an exciting opportunity for a Researcher interested in research impact to conduct a series of podcasts on health justice and decolonisation.
In this role, you will design, produce, and deliver a series of podcasts that contribute to a growing research network focused on health justice. You will work closely with established scholars, curating a diverse range of voices across disciplines, backgrounds, and lived experiences.
Responsibilities- Design, produce, and deliver a series of podcasts.
- Collaborate with scholars to curate diverse voices.
- Conduct and shape in-depth, long-form interviews for public-facing content.
- Academic experience in medical humanities, medical sociology, or a closely related field, with a strong commitment to health justice.
- Well-versed in the decolonisation of academic research and enthusiastic about producing and curating a diverse group of scholars.
- Strong qualitative research skills, particularly in conducting and shaping in-depth, long-form interviews.

Salary & BenefitsSalary: £24.24 per hour (pro-tropic £44,247 per year). Grade 7 on the College's London Pay Scale, including a consolidated London Weighting Allowance. Benefits include a competitive salary and pension scheme, 31 days paid leave, flexible working arrangements, generous benefits in the HE sector, and being located in the heart of Bloomsbury, Euston, London.
ContractFixed-term contract until 31 May 2026, part-time (5 hours a week, up to 60 hours in total). Mainly working from home with flexible and hybrid working patterns.
