- Location: Birkbeck, University of London – Bloomsbury, London
- Contract: Fixed‑term, part‑time, October to December 2026
- Grade: 6
- Closing date: 21‑Jun‑2026
- Salary: £24.55 per hour (inclusive of pro‑rated London Allowance and holiday pay), paid hourly for contact hours worked.
Responsibilities
You will support one or more of the following modules for 3 hours daily, scheduled either 1 pm–4 pm or 6 pm–9 pm (day depending on module) from October to December 2026:
- Practical Skills for the Biosciences
- Infectious Bacteria and Antibiotics
- Specialist Laboratory Research Project
- Sequence Analysis and Omics
- Biocomputing
- The Molecular Basis of Life
- Laboratory Skills in Biochemistry
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Evolution and Genetics
Qualifications
Applicants should have knowledge of, and experience in, at least one of the module areas and be qualified to the corresponding level of the award required to teach, or possess equivalent professional/industry level experience.
