We invite applicants who are passionate about teaching epidemiology. The role involves delivering a 15‑credit, Level 6 module (Epidemiology) to undergraduate bioscience students in the Autumn 2026 term (Oct‑Dec). Classes will take place on Thursdays from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver epidemiology lectures and tutorials for 27 contact hours.
  • Develop teaching materials, organise course logistics and communicate with students.
  • Provide academic support and assessment marking.

Qualifications & experience:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of epidemiology.
  • Qualified at the level required to teach or equivalent professional or industry experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate teaching in the biological or health sciences.

Contract details:

  • Fixed‑term, part‑time contract.
  • Grade 7.
  • Hourly rate: £69.68 per hour (inclusive of pro‑rata London Allowance, holiday pay and a 2.5 teaching multiplier).
