We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Guest Services Assistant to join the Birdworld Team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 4 hours every weekend. Additional hours may be offered depending on the needs of the business.

Pay Rate is up to £12.21 per hour.

About Birdworld: Set within 26 acres of beautiful, landscaped gardens, Birdworld is one of the largest bird parks in the country and is home to a diverse collection of species. We pride ourselves on our educational and conservation values.

About the Role: The role reports to the Guest Services Team Lead. The Guest Services Team at Birdworld look after a variety of visitor facing aspects including Admissions, Retail, and Catering, all in a busy working environment. Colleagues working in the shop and admissions area are very often the first or last impression of our business and are therefore hugely important to our reputation.

Duties include:

  • Welcoming guests to the park and assisting with guest enquiries
  • Processing of admission tickets, memberships, and experiences
  • Assisting with the replenishment of the retail areas
  • To provide support and assistance within the catering department

Previous experience in a Customer Service environment beneficial, though all necessary training will be provided.
