About the Role
Provide general assistance within all areas of the Play Barn and catering across the park, exceed customer expectations, maximise sales, and ensure the smooth running of all catering operations and the guest experience in the Play Barn.
What You’ll Do
- Support in the induction training and development of the team
- Support with the daily allocation of tasks to meet guests’ and business needs
- Assist with daily set up of kitchen and front of house and ensure any issues are reported
- Order products, maintain stock levels and budgets, and provide accurate information to help guests make informed food and drink choices
- Manage allergy queries and oversee food & drink preparation to prevent cross‑contamination
- Share product and operational knowledge through supportive, effective communication
What You’ll Bring
- Previous catering experience in food service or hospitality
- Ability to develop and maintain positive, productive relationships
- Knowledge of health & safety / food safety legislation (desirable)
- Relevant product knowledge regarding allergens (desirable)
- CIEH Level 3 or willingness to complete the training
- Requirement to undergo a DBS check
- Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays and adapt to business needs
