As Senior Care Assistant you will lead our care team, coordinate shifts, and ensure residents receive the highest standard of care in a warm, supportive environment.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead and coordinate the team to create a smooth operation and a positive atmosphere.
- Assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility, prioritising dignity and independence.
- Oversee the ordering, administration, and documentation of medication, maintaining accurate records.
- Engage with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members for clear, compassionate communication.
- Foster a team ethos, respect diversity, and promote a supportive environment for all staff.
- Welcome visitors and show prospective residents and families around the home’s facilities.
- Respond promptly to emergency call bells, assess situations, and provide or call for assistance as needed.
- Write and update care plans, risk assessments, and case notes to reflect residents’ needs and wishes.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and e‑learning, taking responsibility for personal growth and development.
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies, including COSHH, and escalate pertinent concerns to management.
What We’re Looking For:
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care is essential. We also welcome applications from experienced Care Assistants actively working towards their Level 3.
- Practical Medication Administration training with competencies is required.
- Leadership skills: ability to motivate, develop and delegate tasks effectively while maintaining a supportive environment.
