We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic Sunday retail leader to join our team at Burton.
Location: Burton on Trent, 196 Station Street, Burton on Trent, DE14 1AN
Employment Type: Part-time
Hours: 6.5 p/w
Salary: £88.46 p/w
Purpose
To manage and assume overall responsibility for the success of the shop by leading all operational aspects of the shop, driving sales whilst at the same time controlling costs and by being a skilled people manager.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that excellent customer service is always provided by every member of your team.
- Inspire, motivate, train and energise your team to increase sales.
- Effectively manage stock control and maximise the shop’s sales, payroll, waste, and reconciliation performance.
- Ensure the standards for food safety and health and safety are met consistently.
- Ensure that the visual presentation of the shop is in accordance with Birds brand image.
- Be compliant with Company policies and operational guidelines.
Shifts: Sunday 9am - 4pm plus flexible working to cover for staff holidays, sickness and busy periods.
Experience
- Supervisory experience with the skills and ability to drive and motivate performance of your staff.
- A sound understanding of shop operations and standards for success.
- A basic and practical knowledge of IT.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- A basic and practical knowledge of IT.
- Good standard of English and Maths.
