The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC Milling machines to produce precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD software, tooling, and materials handling. The CNC Miller will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production standards and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong experience as a CNC miller – in programming, setting and operating
- Proficient in Fanuc controls is ideal
- Experience with (or willingness to learn) OneCNC CAD/CAM
- Ability to create and interpret Technical Drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Competence in using hand tools and basic tooling knowledge is essential
Duties
- Develop and optimise CNC programmes for milling and other machining processes using CAD software
- Operate CNC machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Conduct materials handling and manage tooling efficiently to maintain workflow
- Troubleshoot issues with programmable logic controllers and machinery during production runs
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity
