We have an excellent opportunity to join the business as the Cluster Media Manager. You’ll be managing paid media and have ownership of social media channels for our Birds Eye, Goodfellas and Aunt Bessies brand.

The Role

This role plays a key part in supporting the delivery of the Media strategy for the UK & IE Cluster, with a keen focus on how media and culturally relevant content marketing work together to drive first class marketing campaigns. Supporting the media team through key operations to deliver and create content and media plans for the UK and IE cluster. Winning in Media is a key building block for Nomad Foods to deliver against our ambitious growth agenda.

Responsibilities

  • Consumer Focus: Responsible to support the delivery of the Cluster plans which address the changing consumer media behaviour and the needs of our digital agenda including right channel mix, emerging trends, and working with brand teams on channel specific content to drive media efficiencies and engagement.
  • Further drive regional media and digital agenda addressing the changing consumer media behaviour.
  • Supporting the SCMM & HOM in the delivery & excellent execution of the Media plans for the UK and IE cluster, using own insight and evidence-based guidance to create and manage regional / local annual planning briefs.
  • The role will have a big focus on unlocking the power of our digital channels.
  • Supporting the implementation of Media plans (Brands, target audiences, media mix, timings aligned with Nomad Foods Media guideline, taking ownership for full plans as required.
  • Work Collaboratively across the Cluster with team members and stakeholders to support the delivery of an effective organisation (e.g. joint campaigns/ test & learns, seamless share & re-apply of best practices.
  • Monitor and analyse media performance metrics, providing valuable insights to optimize future campaigns and enhance overall marketing effectiveness and content performance.

Business Delivery:

  • Providing support to colleagues across the Cluster during the delivery of local market Media activities, including realization of campaigns, optimization, tracking/ monitoring, incident management and reacting to PR and Social media trends working very closely with our in-house social media team.
  • Collaboration with the Brand Sales team to deliver the local market media plans providing expertise and input into these.
  • Content creating to develop engaging and innovative multimedia content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of media campaigns to effectively showcase our products, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies.

Collaboration and Partnership:

  • Proactive collaboration to support the SCMM and HOM in developing/refining Cluster and Central Media strategy, and working with Central Media Team and wider Marketing team to support agency tools, tech, scope and fee build.
  • Working with our media agencies, and media vendors to foster a best in class content and media approach to drive working across campaigns in the paid, earned and owned space.

Builds Capability and Talent:

  • Support segment/ cluster media learning agenda to support the internal capability building agenda.
  • Works in collaboration with to support the Media learning agenda as well as driving key Nomad Global Media projects and contribute to others (e.g. Innovation, Test and Learn, Tools, Training).

About you…

  • Experience working effectively with Media, Content marketing, social media, e-commerce, and/or performance marketing agencies, with a passion for FMCG Industry, displaying a genuine interest in the FMCG sector, specifically in frozen food & segment, and staying informed about industry trends to contribute innovative insights.
  • Experience working with social media agencies and teams will also be important, as Nomad transitions to have a more digital first approach to media.
  • Demonstrates a flair for creative thinking, generating compelling ideas that resonate with our target audience and elevate the brand's presence in the segment/ cluster.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, displaying the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and emerging trends in the media landscape.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring effective collaboration with team members and external partners.
  • A passion to stay abreast of the latest media trends, content, tools and technologies, utilizing them to enhance campaign efficiency and maintain a competitive edge, as well as understanding media in the context of planning, buying, technology & data including e-commerce strategies.
  • Detail orientated to pay meticulous attention to detail in content creation, media planning, and performance analysis.
  • Collaborative in approach, working with team members and stakeholders across a range of plans, ideas and initiatives in the Cluster and beyond (e.g. joint campaigns, comms assets sharing).
  • Experience of managing paid media for an FMCG business (either client side or agency side).
  • Strong passion for social media content, including identifying influencers, trends etc.
  • Knowledge of all media channels (planning, buying, content creation).
  • Understanding of working with agencies (PR, Advertising, Creative, Social).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders (internal and external).
