Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of the capital budget, reliability, and maintenance of the site and the delivery of key site projects.
- Ensure leadership in capital cost management, BAU engineering, and continuous improvement.
- Set the engineering strategy and agenda for the site.
- Provide leadership and direction for departmental engineering teams, the project engineering team, and the Technical Services function.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop, manage, and implement the site capital strategy.
- Optimise maintenance performance to support cost‑effective site operations.
- Realise savings opportunities and deliver budgets on time.
- Lead the utility infrastructure organisation for the Lowestoft factory.
- Drive capital engineering for new product development, capacity extension, and cost savings.
- Act as a member of the site leadership team and benchmark engineering performance externally.
Qualifications:
- Information Engineering Degree or proven experience in engineering.
- Project Management experience.
- Computer literacy at least to intermediate level.
Competencies:
- Delivery champion, change agent, and influential leader.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Organisational and time‑management skills with ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
