We have an excellent opportunity to join Birds Eye as a Commercial Manager, accountable for the planning and delivery of a profitable growth plan within the Birds Eye, Aunt Bessies and Goodfella’s brands.
Utilising category and consumer insight to influence the customer and delight the shopper at points of purchase to achieve key business targets.
About the role
This role is responsible for day to day management of wider business functions (Category, Marketing, Finance and Supply) to ensure the team are all working towards one goal.
Responsibilities
- Generate consumer specific business through developing JBPs, using category/shopper insights etc.
- Manage customer product mix and align with strategic brand and category guidelines.
- Selling and negotiating of new listings.
- Delivering profitable growth for the account.
About you
We need a driven and experienced commercial professional that has managed a sizeable P&L, as well as Top 5 Grocery experience. We need someone with a structured selling process and can comfortably conduct portfolio negotiations with retailers.
- Top 4 UK Grocery experience is essential with Sainsburys the priority.
- Must have experience of P&L management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and proactive in communication.
- Understanding of teamwork and promoting high performing behaviours.
