We have an exciting opportunity for you to make a difference at Birds Eye! Joining us as the Marketing PMO Lead, you’ll be accountable for the innovation delivery within the UK & Ireland Cluster. About the role…
A key role in our Marketing team where you’ll govern all innovation projects as part of the overall Nomad Innovation Process along with managing any highly complex projects yourself. You will be responsible for reporting on the cluster innovation delivery vs targets as well as managing a team of Marketing Project Managers. In brief, you will be responsible for:
- Accountable for the smooth running of the Cluster Innovation Meeting (CIM) and its connections with the Group Innovation Meeting (GIM) and other business cycle meetings.
- Systems & Tools: Develops an in depth understanding of the PPM tool (Planview) and is accountable for ensuring all NPD projects are managed through it.
- Responsible for managing the ongoing Programme status reporting across functions, ensuring a consistently high standard of reporting.
- High Complex Project Management: Leads the project team to deliver project success including project planning, stakeholder management and identifying risks & issues and develop risk management strategies and alternative solutions.
- Coach and develop team members, managing performance, development, and talent conversations appropriately.
- Process Improvement: Utilises the principles of change management and follow a best practice approach to executing change.

You’ve the ability to engage and influence cross functionally to get things done and drive success. Plus, you’re an experienced people manager with the ability to create a positive team culture.
- Demonstrable depth of experience in managing successful and multiple projects
- Experience and use of Project Management methodology.
- Proven ability to organise (documents, people, processes, reports, logs etc.)
- Great people skills and using them for building relationships across the business and with project teams.
- Strong leadership capabilities particularly around accountability and stakeholder management
- Works with a sense of urgency and bias for action
- Strong MS Office tools, MS Project and SharePoint capabilities.
