Sunday 7.5t Drivers

We have opportunities for experienced 7.5 tonne Drivers to join our Transport team based at our prestigious Ascot Drive Bakery with an intended start date of mid-August. You will be delivering Birds’ freshly made products to our shops and returning empty racks and cabinets to the Bakery.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload vehicles; manual handling of rolling equipment and no hand balling involved.
• Ensure vehicle loads are safe and secured with the appropriate restraints as per Company procedures and Safe Systems of Work.
• Perform daily vehicle defect checks and log as necessary.

Shifts

The role is part-time on Sunday from 4am to 11.30am to support our existing operation, with possible additional hours to cover for holiday/sickness.

Experience

Applicants must be of smart appearance and will ideally have a good knowledge of the local area, but this is not essential as full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• C1 Licence
• A valid CPC Driver Qualification Card
• Digi-Card
• A clean Driving Licence
