Location: Birds Bakery, Berry Hill (new shop opening!)
Hours:40 hours per week across Monday to Sunday
To manage and assume overall responsibility for the successof the shop by leading all operational aspects of the shop, driving saleswhilst at the same time controlling costs and by being a skilled peoplemanager. Creating a friendly warming environment for not only our customers butan environment where individuals are coached and inspired to do their best.
Responsibilities
- Ensurethat excellent customer service is always provided by every member of yourteam.
- Inspire,motivate, train and energise your team to increase sales.
- Providestore performance information as required by the Area Manager
- Effectivelymanage stock control and maximise the shop’s sales, payroll, waste, andreconciliation performance
- Deliversales training to the store team members to develop skills in up sellingto ensure opportunities are maximised.
- Managingstaff rotas on a monthly basis.
- Ensurethe standards for food safety and health and safety are met consistently.
- Ensurethat the visual presentation of the shop is in accordance with Birds'brand image.
- Becompliant with Company policies and operational guidelines.
- Ensurethat the very best people are recruited for the shop.
Shifts
Please note you will need to have full flexibility to work across Monday - Sunday and will be scheduled to work 5 days per week.
Experience
- Supervisoryexperience with the skills and ability to drive and motivate performanceof your staff.
- Asound understanding of shop operations and standards for success.
- Aflexible attitude to working hours.
- Goodcommunication and interpersonal skills
- Abasic and practical knowledge of IT
- Goodstandard of English and Maths
- Staffdiscount.
