Your mission at Birdie
We strongly believe that data holds the key to unlock innovation in social care. It is the foundation of how we learn as a company as well as how we enable our customers to improve their services. Our applications and services generate a wealth of rich data - it is essential that we’re able to process, analyse & deliver as much of it as possible to improve the lives of older adults. You will help maintain and build out our next-generation data platform enabling Birdie services to exchange data in real-time allowing product squads to quickly develop features building on information captured by other services.
How you will contribute
- Build out our AI Product Vision using the right technologies to solve today’s problems as well as the challenges Birdie will face in the future.
- Have a deep interest in understanding our users workflows and pain points looking for novel ways through AI to solve them.
- Develop AI-driven tools, models, and documentation willing to share knowledge and up skill our broader engineering teams.
- Build and maintain AI infrastructure leveraging the latest technology approaches.
- Ensure seamless integration of AI into existing platform and customer-facing processes.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- At least 2 years of experience working in an AI engineering or machine learning role supporting customer-facing processes and infrastructure.
- Experience working in a cross functional product engineering squad with deep interest in understanding and solving end user problems.
- Proven expertise in building scalable machine learning models and deploying them into production environments.
- Passionate about enabling others with tools, frameworks, and documentation.
- A technical leader who stays curious about emerging technologies.
- Strong communicator capable of explaining complex AI concepts in simple terms understandable by non-technical audiences.
