Your mission is to strengthen our technical core in the team, focusing on improved ratings engine, visit confirmation, and shift pay. The ultimate goal is to improve how agencies pay and get paid for care delivery in more flexible ways.
As a full stack engineer, you will contribute to both the development of new features and maintenance of our existing platform, solving problems using technologies across the stack. You will:
- Design and create automated tests at all levels of the testing pyramid.
- Optimise code performance to successfully scale.
- Execute in an agile engineering environment, collaborating in cross-functional teams.
- Maintain the quality of your own and your team’s code, driving improvement across Birdie.
- Leverage your keen product mindset to understand user needs and drive innovation.
- Act as a mentor to other team members.
Our technical needs include:
- Deep proficiency in TypeScript, React, and NodeJS.
- Good knowledge of relational databases and PostgreSQL.
- Expertise in automated testing and a TDD approach.
- Strong knowledge of common design patterns.
- Familiarity with Kafka and Debezium would be nice to have.
- Experience deploying and operating software in a cloud environment (AWS) including Kubernetes.
