About Us: Birdi Group derives from the brainchild and passion-project of Kush and Leena Birdi – two lawyers who wanted to create a firm where they could do the work they loved, but in an environment that inspired them (as well as others). The two share a philosophy – a philosophy they call “Infectious Enthusiasm”. They believe that high-quality work is a given, but it’s the attitude you adopt in work (and life) that matters most. It’s what delivers real value and helps to cultivate long-lasting client relationships. It’s the more human element of the lawyer/client dynamic that they felt too often got lost, but is the thing that leaves the longest impression once a project is closed. At Birdi Group, there is a real desire to ensure that every client who walks through the door is met with positivity, passion and energy. That the client feels a genuine curiosity and empathy for their vision – and that with the right mindset, together we can make amazing things happen. “Infectious Enthusiasm” is the beating heart of Birdi Group and is what has helped the firm develop a reputation, not just for excellent technical work, but for being a genuinely enjoyable firm to work with. It’s what has become known as The Birdi Way.

About the Candidate: The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Partner and play a central role in helping him operate effectively across legal work, leadership, business development and wider firm growth. This is a trusted role for someone highly organised, proactive, polished and commercially aware. You will be comfortable operating at pace, handling confidential matters with discretion and helping create structure around a fast-moving founder-led business.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Managing Partner’s diary, meetings and priorities
  • Acting as a gatekeeper and point of coordination for internal and external communications
  • Supporting with inbox management, follow-ups and correspondence

  • Supporting project management across strategic initiatives and operational priorities
  • Liaising with internal team members, clients, suppliers and advisers
  • Assisting with presentations, reports, proposals and general executive administration
  • Supporting with occasional personal admin where appropriate to enable effective time management
  • Helping organise team events, leadership meetings and firm initiatives

Strong written and verbal communication skills. High level of discretion and professionalism. Able to anticipate needs and solve problems independently. Calm under pressure and able to manage competing priorities. Strong IT skills, including MS Office. A positive, energetic and proactive attitude.
