With 3 garages and more growth to come, our company is growing fast! We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician (MOT Tester desirable) to join our team in Cheadle. Here at Birdhall Lane, we believe in doing things properly. We don't rush jobs, overload diaries, or expect unpaid overtime. What you'll be doing:
- Conducting vehicle servicing and repairs, including brakes, tyres, exhausts, suspension, clutches and timing belts
- Carrying out vehicle health checks to manufacturer standards
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing authorised repair work efficiently and safely
- Keeping job cards and paperwork accurate and up to date
Hours:
Monday-Friday - 8:00am-5:30pm
Alternate Saturdays - 8:00am-1:00pm
We're looking for:
- Workshop experience
- MOT licence desirable but not essential
- NVQ Level 2 or 3, or time-served equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
- A positive, team-focused approach
