Birda is building an app for birding adventures. We’re looking for an experienced Product Engineer to help people connect with nature through our mobile apps (React Native) with a focus on user experience and delivery efficiency, while maintaining platform quality and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own product engineering for mobile apps with React Native and Node backend.
  • Collaborate across product ideation, prioritization, analytics, and marketing to deliver real impact.
  • Work in a dynamic, ambiguous startup-like environment and contribute to full-stack scope as needed.

Qualifications

  • Senior level with React and React Native
  • Senior with Node
  • Experience with distributed architectures
  • Experience with Next.js
  • Experience with GraphQL + Apollo
  • Experience with styling (CSS or Tailwind)
  • Experience with pub/sub architectures
