Role Description
Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in London. This role oversees day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing monthly and annual financial statements, and monitoring cash flow across multiple venues. The Finance Manager will develop and maintain budgets, track performance against forecasts, and provide regular reporting and analysis to support strategic decisions. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and tax requirements, maintaining accurate records, and supporting external audits. The role also involves partnering with operations and venue managers to control costs, optimise revenue, and implement effective financial controls and processes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to interpret data and provide clear recommendations.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, management accounts preparation, and variance analysis for multi-site operations.
- Experience with accounting systems and tools, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and Excel-based analysis.
- Knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the hospitality sector.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with non-finance stakeholders and present financial information clearly.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and process improvement.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) or significant proven experience in a similar finance role.
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or other multi-site or consumer-focused businesses is highly beneficial.
