We are looking for a Knowledge Development Lawyer (KDL) to join our established Corporate team in London. The successful candidate will ideally be an experienced Corporate lawyer of at least Senior Associate level or equivalent with strong transactional experience across a wide spectrum of matters at an international firm.
Key Responsibilities
- To keep and have responsibility for keeping the London Corporate team on top of relevant legal changes.
- To play an integral part in getting our precedents up to date and maintaining them to anticipate or respond to market or legal developments.
- To assist in the preparation and delivery of client seminars and client training sessions.
- To support in the development and use of legal tech in the corporate practice, both in the UK and internationally, and to help spread best practice.
- To provide trainees with training on the types of work they will be exposed to during their corporate seats.
- To provide basic training on English corporate law to lawyers in other international offices and to our company secretarial team.
What you'll bring
- Strong theoretical, practical and up to date knowledge of UK company law and corporate practice with suitable post qualification fee earning experience with a leading law firm or in house.
- Knowledge and experience of at least two of the following areas will be required: mergers and acquisitions (public or private), equity capital markets and PE/venture capital.
- Client-orientated and international approach - ability to think laterally and to develop ideas in relation to business opportunities and training.
- Highly competent in Word, Excel and PPT and ideally with some experience of legal AI technologies, such as Harvey or Legora.
- Applicants who wish to work part time will be considered and the role is equally suited to part time work.

The main responsibilities of this role are outlined above; however, this description is not exhaustive, and the job holder may be required to undertake additional duties from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the department. The role may require some working outside our normal working hours of 9:30am-5:30pm.
