Overview
Work with the LegalTech and Innovation team to manage enquiries on legaltech tools and platforms (HighQ, Luminance, Legora, Betty Blocks, Juristic, the intranet, and GenAI tools such as Microsoft Copilot). You will acknowledge enquiries promptly, manage end‑user expectations, prioritise workload, and highlight strategic POC trials.
Gather requirements for new client portals, project sites and bespoke solutions through direct liaison with Bird & Bird lawyers, assess which firm tech product meets requirements and advise on options.
Collaborate with the LegalTech & Innovation Manager to raise awareness and drive adoption of existing tools across offices, practice groups and sectors by organising workshops, POCs and internal pilot programmes.
Participate in the firm’s global LegalTech focus group, review new technology and provide feedback on products trialed.
Maintain training materials and guides (internal and client‑facing) – create e‑learning videos, quick reference guides and bespoke guides that cater to various learning styles.
Conduct inductions for new joiners on legaltech products and provide advanced training for lawyers and secretaries, both locally and globally.
Day‑to‑day manage the LegalTech register, maintain an up‑to‑date list of firm products, scan the market for new solutions, and support product trials requested by the firm.
Support the Innovation platform (Bloom), review and advance ideas and move them forward through the Bloom Framework.
Perform general administration duties such as compiling reports on system usage and trends, progressing the archive programme, and identifying automation or integration opportunities aligned with the firm’s technology roadmaps.
Act as a bridge between emerging AI developments and the technology team, supporting global adoption and engagement across all offices.
This role reports to the Senior LegalTech & Innovation Manager and is based in our London office, working closely with all offices worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage enquiries on legaltech tools and platforms and prioritise workload.

- Raise awareness and drive adoption of existing tools; organise workshops, POCs and pilot programmes.
- Maintain training materials and guides, including e‑learning videos and quick reference guides.
- Conduct inductions and advanced training for lawyers and secretaries on HighQ.
- Day‑to‑day manage the LegalTech register and scan the market for new solutions.
- Support the Bloom Innovation platform, progress ideas and move them forward through the framework.
- Compile reports on system usage, trends and progress the archive programme.
- Identify automation or integration opportunities that reflect technology roadmaps and user feedback.
- Act as a bridge between emerging AI developments and the technology team, supporting international adoption.

- Website administration experience (Intranet/Extranet/Internet site), ideally with SharePoint experience.
