We are looking for a mid-level Associate to join our established team in London, as a member of one of the largest departments in the London office. We are seeking candidates with three to five years of post-qualification experience.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on the full range of IPRs, with a particular focus on UK litigation in all areas, including the life sciences, retail & consumer, and/or tech sector.
  • Assist with general IP advisory work across all sectors in both a contentious and non-contentious context.
  • Assist the IP partners to develop the practice.

What you’ll bring

  • Ideally, have attended and passed the Oxford Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice.
  • Proven experience in handling complex contentious and non-contentious IP matters within a comparable environment and at an appropriate level.
  • Existing UK experience desirable.
  • Flexibility, supporting cases across a broad range of IP issues and jurisdictions.
  • The ability to liaise effectively with other fee earners within the group, and with fee earners from other relevant disciplines and jurisdictions as required.
  • The ability to manage aspects of complex IP matters at an appropriate level, working efficiently and effectively alongside the partners.
