Overview
Reporting to the General Sales Manager, we are looking for an experienced highly motivated individual to join our busy sales department at the Destination Motorcycles dealership in Christchurch, Dorset. This challenging role places customer care first. You will support and guide customers throughout the purchase of a new vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and encourage potential customers
Provide excellent customer service
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Meet customer needs and expectations
Produce suitable options for the customer and adapt to their buying strategy
Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed targets
Liaise with colleagues and other departments to provide seamless service
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Must have previous sales experience in the automotive industry
Motorcycle licence (essential)
Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem‑solving, organisational and time‑management skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Self‑motivated, able to work on own initiative without constant supervision
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to create relationships at all levels
A flexible approach
Excellent IT skills and technological skills
Work Hours
Monday – Friday 08:30 – 18:00, Saturdays 08:30 – 18:00 (1st April – 30th September)
Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00, Saturdays 08:30 – 16:30 (1st October – 31st March)
Day off during the week in lieu of Saturday working.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: £22,000 Basic (£45,000 OTE)
Holiday: 22 days plus
